1 Corinthians 1:10 "Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment."
The Apostle Paul urges the Church at Corinth to live in unity, as he was made aware that the people were saying, I'm of Paul, or of Cephas, or Apollos, or Christ, which created division within the church. This is very common today as many say, I'm baptist, or pentecostal, or seventh day adventist, or catholic, or apostolic, etc. Yet Paul posed the question, "Is Christ divided?"
The answer is NO! Christ came so we'd be one in Him (John 10:16), one Christ, one body of Christ followers. So we must be VERY careful to avoid the trap of satan to bring division among us. Pride is the root of strife and division, but humility is a gateway to unity. We're ONE in Christ, and we must live and fellowship as such.
